P2P Trading Rules
These P2P Trading Rules ("Rules") govern all peer-to-peer cryptocurrency transactions conducted through the ChiwawaPay P2P platform ("ChiwawaPay", "Platform", "we", "our", or "us").
The Platform allows users to buy and sell digital assets, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Tether (USDT), directly with other users. ChiwawaPay provides the technology, transaction management tools, and escrow services to facilitate trades but does not act as a buyer or seller of cryptocurrency unless expressly stated.
By using the P2P trading service, you agree to comply with these Rules, the Terms of Service, and all applicable laws and regulations.
2. User Responsibilities
All users participating in P2P trading must:
Provide accurate account and verification information.
Complete required identity verification (KYC) before trading where applicable.
Maintain control and security of their account credentials.
Trade only with payment methods registered in their own name unless otherwise permitted.
Follow the instructions and deadlines displayed during each trade.
Communicate honestly and professionally with other traders.
Users are responsible for understanding the risks associated with cryptocurrency transactions before trading.
3. Creating P2P Advertisements
Users who create buy or sell advertisements ("Advertisers") agree to:
Provide accurate pricing information.
Specify supported payment methods correctly.
Set realistic transaction limits.
Complete trades according to the advertised terms.
Maintain sufficient cryptocurrency balance when selling.
Advertisers must not:
Publish misleading offers.
Use unrealistic prices to attract users.
Create advertisements for fraudulent purposes.
Include prohibited payment instructions or external contact requests.
ChiwawaPay reserves the right to remove advertisements that violate these Rules.
4. Starting a Trade
When a buyer or seller accepts an advertisement:
A binding trade agreement is created between the parties.
The cryptocurrency amount is locked through the Platform's escrow system where applicable.
Both parties must follow the agreed payment terms.
Users should review all trade details before confirming an order.
5. Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers must:
Complete payment within the specified payment period.
Send payment only through the agreed payment method
Use an account or payment method that belongs to them unless otherwise approved.
Upload valid payment proof when required.
Mark the payment status only after payment has actually been completed.
Buyers must not:
Submit fake payment confirmations.
Request sellers to release cryptocurrency before payment is verified.
Cancel trades after making payment without a valid reason.
6. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers must:
Ensure sufficient cryptocurrency balance before accepting trades.
Release cryptocurrency only after confirming receipt of payment.
Verify payment authenticity before releasing assets.
Follow the agreed trade conditions.
Sellers must not:
Request payment outside the agreed method.
Delay release after receiving confirmed payment.
Accept payments from suspicious or unauthorized sources.
7. Payment Rules
Users must follow these payment requirements:
Payments must be completed within the specified trade time limit.
Only approved payment methods listed in the trade may be used.
Transaction references and payment details must be accurate.
Users must not use third-party accounts without approval.
ChiwawaPay may request additional evidence to verify payment activity.
8. Escrow and Asset Release
Where escrow protection is provided:
Cryptocurrency is temporarily locked during the trade process.
Assets are released after payment conditions are satisfied.
ChiwawaPay may intervene in disputes based on available evidence.
ChiwawaPay does not guarantee recovery of funds where users fail to follow trading instructions.
9. Trade Cancellation
A trade may be cancelled when:
Payment has not been completed within the required time.
Both parties agree to cancel.
A violation of these Rules is identified.
ChiwawaPay determines cancellation is necessary for security or compliance reasons.
Users must not intentionally cancel completed or paid trades to avoid obligations.
10. Disputes and Appeals
Users may open a dispute when:
Payment has been made but cryptocurrency has not been released.
Payment confirmation is contested.
A user believes fraud or abuse has occurred.
During a dispute, users must provide:
Payment receipts
Transaction records
Screenshots or relevant communication evidence
Any other requested verification information
ChiwawaPay will review available evidence and make a decision based on platform records and applicable rules.
11. Prohibited Trading Activities
Users must not use ChiwawaPay P2P for:
Money laundering or illegal financial activity.
Fraudulent transactions.
Trading with stolen funds.
Unauthorized chargeback schemes.
Fake payment claims.
Account rental or account sharing.
Circumventing platform security measures.
Activities prohibited under applicable laws.
Violations may result in account suspension, termination, and reporting to relevant authorities where required.
12. Cryptocurrency Transaction Risks
Users acknowledge that:
Cryptocurrency transactions involve financial risk.
Blockchain transfers may be irreversible.
Digital asset prices may change rapidly.
Users are responsible for confirming wallet addresses and transaction details.
ChiwawaPay is not responsible for losses caused by user mistakes, market changes, or blockchain-related issues.
13. Fees and Limits
ChiwawaPay may apply:
Trading fees
Withdrawal fees
Network fees
Service-related charges
Trading limits and fees may change based on account status, verification level, market conditions, or regulatory requirements.
14. Account Restrictions
ChiwawaPay may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts involved in:
Suspicious trading activity
Fraud investigations
Policy violations
Regulatory concerns
Security risks
Restrictions may remain until verification or investigation is completed.
15. Changes to P2P Trading Rules
ChiwawaPay may update these Rules periodically to improve security, comply with regulations, or enhance platform operations.
Updated Rules become effective when published on the Platform.
